virgin changing to distance based chart for delta flights. usa - tlv is 35k coach down 5k, business up to 130k from 60k !!! domestic short haul 0 - 500 miles goes from 12500 to 7500

the jfk to tlv was never available in business anyway, the biggest loss in nyc - europe in delta one gone up from 50k to 80k

If delta is avail JFK-TLV on Virgin for 35k, its available on air France for 29k. Whats better about va?

virgin can add on infants, air france you cant book infant [even not through delta]. virgin have very often 30% transfer bonus from amex. virgin cc often gives 80k bonus for signing up...

Point A not true. I’ve gotten FB to add a infant to a TLV DL flight.
Only upside with VS is they charge a flat rate in points for the infant, while FB would charge 10% of the paid fare.

Are you sure the fee is not for roundtrip? I think it means the one-mile distance for the chart, but the miles id roundtrip since all there other charts point to roundtrip

no you can search for flights it is showing the new rate. it seems like they wanted to plug the hole on delta 1 redemptions for cheap..

tons, nyc - tlv on delta nonstop nearly everyday available, likewise lots of delta domestic flights among others [i didnt check again, but nyc - lon used to differ from rest of delta network and used to align more to virgin metal rates on that route]

I dont ever recall seeing close in, as in 2 weeks.
I belive DL pulls everything past 2 weeks.
