The removal of the award chart is rough.

As of now there are no details about redemption rates, upgrade costs etc. Until we know more, we can't say for sure if we're worse off

any chance el al will sign up with a us cc company to bring back transfer points? this time 1:1 ratio.

Word on the street is that the Fly Card Preferred will earn at 1.25X (1.25 points per dollar) after the changes.  Unsure about the diamonds earn ratio, but if Gold is within the realm of normalcy (unlike the current $200K spend requirement), I might shift spend to the card.  Remains to be seen what award pricing is, but I could see certain situations being worthwhile to put spend on the card at that rate for a TLV-based flyer (the Tuesday redemption promos, birthday promos, etc.)

And it appears that new signups have been silently pulled.  The link errors out and has for at least a few days now.  Maybe it can apped via the call center.
