when people are shot in the streets by their neighbors and sections of cities are burnt down or occupied by domestic terrorists  ....not exactly what I'd call great.

Perfect description of NYC in the 1970s!  That's what you want to go back to?

we have vastly different definitions of what great is.
I am sure that is true. When was the last time in your view that America was great?

past couple of years have seen a serious decline on the right and left. Not a good trajectory to be on

Trying to figure out what a MAGA republican is.

Biden isn’t the person you should be asking. Let him stick to explaining his own campaign slogans to Americans, that’s hard enough for him.

Loaded question like: Did you beat your wife today?

Biobook did not beat her wife (was going to say their wife, but that would be misgendering…) today, I’m sure about that.

It’s going back there slowly, and it certainly isn’t the Republican party’s doing…

If Biden takes issue with fringe elements in any political party he should start with his own…

Fair enough but when was the last time America was great. MAGA means we were great at one time, so when?

I agree and that is why I am asking here but all I hear is a pin.

You seem to be the only one who wants a definitive definition. Why don’t you offer your own, and if anyone disagrees they will likely let you know.

Why do people have to defend their beliefs in Maga?

To me it seems this all came about because Biden decided to vilify the term Maga and personally I think that's wrong and there is no need to follow that line of logic. It's bad for the country.

So those who support MAGA either don't know what they are supporting or won't say. Got it!!!

Wasn’t MAGA Trump’s campaign slogan from 2016? If you’re so worked up about what happened during and mostly after the 2020 election, then why is this about MAGA and “supporting MAGA”?

It is the term to be able to pin every negative they want into and then use it to smear all Republicans. It changes meaning depending on the smear.

Keep repeating this all you want and it still won't be true. It is not to smear all republicans but that is good red meat you are serving.
Of course it is. He is trying to vilify them before the midterms. What else was he trying to do with that speech?

I agree that he should not have used MAGA. He could have made the exact same points without any labels.
Why do people have to defend their beliefs in Maga?
I am just asking what the beliefs are?
Is one of the beliefs that the 2020 election was stolen? I am not asking anyone to defend it if that is a belief.

IMHO he was going after the base. The base is not all republicans.
