Why do people have to defend their beliefs in Maga?

To me it seems this all came about because Biden decided to vilify the term Maga and personally I think that's wrong and there is no need to follow that line of logic. It's bad for the country.

It is the term to be able to pin every negative they want into and then use it to smear all Republicans. It changes meaning depending on the smear.

IMHO he was going after the base. The base is not all republicans.
