There is a good chance that he has broken the law numerous times but the way they are going after him because of politics is very disturbing. All the same people who were up in arms about investigating Hillary are now salivating.
He likely broke the law numerous times as did Hunter Biden, and likely the Biden Family and the Clintons.

True. Also, the way they investigate trump is like no other politician. This is a bad look for america. The voters know that this is a witch hunt and the more they pursue it the more trump becomes a victom. People tend to vote for the victom.

Maga no as they are a cult, but it will with the I's.

How many people are "I" regarding Trump? Everyone has made up their mind.

For a lot of people, it's a question of the lesser of two evils when it comes to the choice at the polls. What remains to be determined is whether this adds more to to the evils of Trump or the Democratic party machine, in voters eyes. (This story is years old, and has already been exhaustively investigated. It's a pretty cheap attempt on the Manhattan DAs part for political points. He should at least come up with original fodder.)

The DA is using him as a pawn to try to gain points in his circles and electorate. Whole thing is a game.
If he would happen to be found guilty would you feel the same?

Spoken like a Trump supporter. Many have not made up their mind if he broke laws.

Correct, and when you can make the case that the government is selective with who they prosecute, does that sound like the government has "goalposts"?

The real witch hunt has been the big flop Durham investigation, but we don't hear a peep about that.

The key words are "make the case". One side says one thing and the other side says another.
You are not going to convince the I's that there is a "deep state".

Bringing the first charges against Trump for this and by this nutcase DA is by far the worst botching of political game we've seen. Leave this for the last indictment and tell this trash bragg to hold his horses for now, or use them to round up the street criminals in NYC. A federal official indictment for his interfering with the Georgian election results would hold much more water, especially if it would reveal some severe damaging details from his phone calls etc. You have a president who violated his powers and ordered election officials to overturn election results (!!!) and instead you charge him for some stupid undocumented campaign contributions. Trumpsters couldn't pray better.

This is America. You don't have to be innocent to walk or be guilty to sit, as long as you have the right prosecution team, judge, or jury.

It's a pretty dumb accusation and indictment to begin with. They should find a more substantive story. The actual criminal aspect of this incident is pretty minor. They just like the fact that some of the elements involved sound salacious and scandalous. It's cheap tabloid stuff, and nothing everyone doesn't already know about Trump.

Sure, Trump likely broke the law. As did Biden likely, and HRC's husband, and plenty of other prominent politicians. (If the government would decide to put you or me away, I'm sure they can find things in which it could be argued that we broke the law too, and I think we've broken the law less than them.) These are all old stories though. Nothing new with these indictments. Whoever disliked him before still dislikes him, and whoever liked him before still still like him. This shouldn't affect things or have too much of an effect on Trump. The DA is using him as a pawn to try to gain points in his circles and electorate. Whole thing is a game.

Let's take a step back for a minute. Anybody who thinks that politicians running for prez or any real political position are decent people, it's they just don't know the politician.
It doesn't make a difference whether they are on the right or left, in order to make it places in the government, the politicians are (almost?) always financially supported by business. The politician makes it and the businesses call in favors. The politician give the favors, slowly turning into your average corrupt politician and before you know it, they're a full fledged polititian.
Many, if not most ppl who voted for Trump knew exactly who he was and still voted for him because they felt that the alternative was even worse.
The question is, what percentage of ppl drinking the "my politician is a saint" koolaid are on the right/left.

The people who I hang out with - that voted for Trump - are mostly folks who have no problem agreeing the Trump may be a bad individual.

The smaller amount of people that I know didn't vote for Trump are highly unlikely to agree (percentage-wise) that the swamp on the left might be just as bad.

The ones drinking the koolaid are those who think that the politician they voted into office is a tzaddik (excluding smaller, local elections where corruption is not necessarily required).

My bro worked for a few years in Brooklyn politics, in a few offices for various Brooklyn congressmen. He left because he couldn't stand it that no one - no one, not even people who you would assume otherwise - was willing to lift a finger until they knew what was in it for them, even if it was their job, and even if it required no effort at all.

This was first said by the late Douglas Adams. Of course he wasn't talking about OUR presidency in OUR world - he was talking about his fictitious universe!
Chapter 28 of The Restaurant at the End of the Universe (1980):
"The major problem—one of the major problems, for there are several—one of the many major problems with governing people is that of whom you get to do it; or rather of who manages to get people to let them do it to them.
To summarize: it is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it. To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job. To summarize the summary of the summary: people are a problem."
