The most corrupt politicians as you put it are those in local elections like school boards.
I strongly disagree. The smaller elections are the only ones where you don't necessarily need major financing.
That said, even in these smaller elections, I'm sure many is not most of these politicians are real politicians (and very corrupt). My point here was that it's conceivable to say that a polititian elected in a smaller election is not corrupt.
Which senator/governor/president from this century that you have ever mentioned was not corrupt?
ETA: to clarify, my disagreement is with your premise that since the most corrupt politicians are on the school boards, every single small town politician or school board politician is corrupt.
