I'm not getting into that argument. I'm responding to your point, where you tried to make the changes simply about "expanding voting."

My point is that everyone agrees that the way in which they expanded voting was considered rife with fraud long before this election.
I didn’t make anything about anything, I responded to a post claiming expanding voting “undermined faith”. It’s ironic because we all know exactly what “undermined faith” in elections recently. And the guy’s been doing it for years and has openly stated he wouldn’t accept the results of the election if it didn’t go his way (both in 2016 and 2020).

Didn't Trump create a commission to look into this and they were disbanded when they came up with nothing?
I agree with you that there is no evidence of widespread fraud and the whole stolen election narrative is stupidity, but the reason it was disbanded was because there were too many states that refused to cooperate.

I admit I slightly misunderstood the emphasis in your post, but my point remains the same.

The post you responded to made a claim that the steps taken undermined faith in the voting process.

You stated that the only reason faith was undermined was because of Trump. Now, separate conversation, we can discuss how much Trump overreacted, whether he was honest or not, whether he's to blame for everything from white supremacy to global warming and the rise of Hitler before WWII.

My point simply was that since everyone agrees that mail in ballots are notorious for voter fraud (long before Trump was president), Trump is not the only reason expanding it made people lose faith in the integrity of the voting process.

A reasonable person looking at expanding a type of voting that is notorious for fraud, might well assume that there would be more fraud. Enough to change results? I don't know. But to say that no reasonable, unbiased person would be concerned about it if not for Trump, is not being honest.

Agree that is what they claimed. How about the R states? They refused to cooperate?

But they wouldn't have much fraud since they are R states

Fair

Just so we are clear, you admit that this statement was wrong?
Expanding voting didn’t undermine faith in the system.

Where you getting your stats from. For 40+ years Chicago has been notorious for voter fraud (the claim) without mail in voting.

Trump is the one saying that about mail in voting. Is it true?

Trump is the one saying that about mail in voting.

Fact check: False

Do you know who wrote "Absentee ballots remain the largest source of potential voter fraud"?

(If you need a hint, he was a one term president)

You responded to a post saying that Trump was not the only one meeting the claim. Yes, Trump said it, but he was not the first or only one to say so

Just so there is no confusion. Trump was not the only one saying it. He was the loudest and said it the most often. Also being the president that is magnified 100x. We all know how many of his idiot supporters go for a conspiracy.

Former President Donald Trump, who was kicked off of Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms earlier this year, will reportedly announce class action lawsuits Wednesday against Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey.

Trump is expected to announced the news at an 11 a.m. ET press conference, Axios reported.
