Why is it up to popular vote to bring him back? That’s not what the rules say.
If he broke Twitter rules, he’s out. If he didn’t, he’s not out.
If the rules changed to his favor, then he’s in.
Are there new rules that we going to be voting on every person to let them on Twitter?

Trump didn't want to come back. By doing the vote he reinstated the account without Trump's permission. He hopes that Trump will be back. I doubt it.

it’s got nothing to do with permission. If the rules say he’s back, he’s back. Trump doesn’t have to utilize the account if he doesn’t want to but it’s got nothing to do with if hes allowed back or not

“President Donald Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts are being reinstated, the social media giant Meta announced Wednesday — a little more than two years after he was suspended from the platforms over incendiary posts on the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol.

Nick Clegg, president of global affairs at Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram, said Trump’s accounts will be reinstated “in the coming weeks” and come with “new guardrails in place to deter repeat offenses.””
