Voice recorder recommendation?
« on: January 10, 2021, 12:16:24 PM »
I've been using Olympus voice recorders for the last decade and a half, for all sorts of uses, like recording shiurim to recording important phone calls (for which I use this handy contraption.) I use them often, so they last me about a year each, after which they start to break, and I buy a new one. I generally buy the standard Olympus version for about $40-$70, which is virtually the same as the one's available a decade ago, but with slight variations.

I've experimented with other brands when I first started recording things, and I found Olympus to be the clearest and most reliable. I'm wondering if there is anything new that came out in the last 15 years that it's worth trying?

Any recommendations?

Upon the recommendation of a B&H associate, I went for the Zoom H1n.
