I've been using Olympus voice recorders for the last decade and a half, for all sorts of uses, like recording shiurim to recording important phone calls (for which I use
this handy contraption.) I use them often, so they last me about a year each, after which they start to break, and I buy a new one. I generally buy the standard Olympus version for about $40-$70, which is virtually the same as the one's available a decade ago, but with slight variations.
I've experimented with other brands when I first started recording things, and I found Olympus to be the clearest and most reliable. I'm wondering if there is anything new that came out in the last 15 years that it's worth trying?
Any recommendations?
