Any issue with a Canadian citizen arriving in US for a wedding?

By plane is fine. Car is not. Car with a US spouse may work, YMMV. And if you fly back into Canada remember that you'll need a negative PCR test within 72 hrs before your flight.

I'd rather not say I'm going for a wedding as everything is up to the CBP officer at the end of the day and I'm not sure how fondly they look at weddings. I'd just say visiting family. That's just my personal opinion though.

Back in the summer I had an uncle of mine who tried coming into the US separate from his wife who was a US citizen, while he was a Canadian citizen he thought it would be smarter to rent his own car, versus going with his wife's car and should things not go well will cause him and his wife as well as his kids to have to turn around. So in the end he had to turn around as the border patrol give him a hard time and did not let him through.

 though he did end up flying a few days later and he had no problem.

 Fast forward a few months later he came in for a family Simcha, they give him a bit of trouble at the airport when he flew but they let him go.
 
 His wife ended up driving with the kids as they were all US citizens / dual citizens.


 Coming to visit family. Don't say a wedding.
 Or don't say anything if they don't ask.
