What's with this 2nd time? Whether getting covid twice or 2 shots, or covid + shot -all reporting symptoms are worse...
Among the 33 confirmed reinfections, the second case was more intense or more serious for 12, milder or less intense for 4, and either no difference or no data for the rest. Too few data to draw detailed conclusions, but at least we can say it's not necessarily worse the second time.

I don't know what that means biologically, but it's apparently not unexpected, and had been known to occur with other vaccines when a second booster dose is given.
Some first-person reports in the news have said that although their symptoms were worse the second time, they disappeared after 1-2 days, so they're recommending that people who don't want their symptoms to affect their work life should schedule the second dose for the weekend.
