If so, maybe those that already had covid, should suffice with just 1 shot?
Quotes in a signature is annoying, as it comes across as an independent post.
Any reports of anything lasting longer than 24 (or 48) hours?
Max I heard was 72 hours
Oy, I have second dose scheduled Tuesday, day and a half before taanis esther 😬
Same here, I heard you can move it earlier or later by up to 4 days with no issue which I may do.
Can the 4-day grace period be used to schedule second doses? No, the grace period cannot be used to schedule second doses. To the extent possible, doses should be administered as close to the 28-day interval as possible. The grace period should be used only for retrospectively reviewing records. If it is discovered a dose has been inadvertently administered within a grace period of ≤4 days from the recommended date for the second dose (i.e., 24–27 days after dose 1), this dose is considered valid.
Interesting. I just looked up what the CDC said about that, and they don't recommend it, just consider it valid. I'm trying to bump up my appointment one day, can't imagine it makes much of a difference so long as Chemed would allow it.From the CDC FAQ's -
In CHEMED’s interview with Dr. Offit, he mentions that getting vaccinated within the 4 day grace period is for all efficacy intents and purposes the same as getting vaccinated at the official interval.
6:20-7:50 is very illuminating about this. However, he does mention that it’s best to do it correctly if possible.
Thanks for that.So what are you doing?
What makes it best
I would love to get it pushed up to Friday, but we’ll see if they allow it. More likely Sunday or Monday.
AP dead or Obi dead?
I got the shot Friday, was feeling pretty bad on Shabbos (stating in the morning and getting progressively worse). Took Ibuprofen after shabbos and was fine after that (aside for arm pain).
What symptoms did you have? Fever, headache, aches?
