I booked a turkish airline ticket with budgetair.com I didn't get a confirmation just an email that they'll call me
I didn't have a number to call I waited a few hours and I canceled online it said there will be a fee of 660 I canceled and right away filed a dot complaint on July 31 it past already two anD half months and I didn't hear back from them so I tried disputing the charge and chase came back that I have no case because I agreed to the terms
Does someone have any advice what I can do?
The fee is £60 not 600
It is very clear in the terms
The fee is a travel agency fee nothing to do with the airline
The only thing you can try to fight is if the fee wasn't disclosed but generally it is buried in the general website terms
There is a reason it pays to research any agency before you buy and in many cases it is better to book direct anc cut out possible problems with the middleman
Regarding DoT
If you filed against the airline they will not respond as it is not relevant to them
Against the agency then you need to make sure it was addressing the claim in a way that was actually valid
