So I booked 8 tickets with Turkish Airlines+an extra seat last night. Want to cancel and rebook with a different CC. I tried canceling online but it said that since I have an extra seat, I need to call customer service. I called twice and they said they can't do it because it's too many ticket. I told them it's not only their policy to allow cancelation, it's actually US law. They refused. They also refused to transfer me to a supervisor. What are my options? Should I file a complaint with the DOT? If they take it seriously, will I maybe get something financially out of it? If not, I'll probably just let it go.
Yes it should help to get your money back I’ve done it numerous times. Results and speed are Fantastic.

I hope I don't mess myself up. I filed the report. But I really do want the flights, just to rebook using a different credit card. Will Turkish blacklist me? Alternatively, is there a possibility I will get additional compensation (aside from being able to cancel the tickets)? Lastly, how long does it take? If it takes too long for the process, the price for the tickets may go up and then I'll be left with nothing (or just paying more).

Doubt you’ll be in a mess at best they’ll reach out to accommodate I doubt they’ll just cancel it on there own from the filing. Can be pretty quick a day or 2 sometimes. Not really compensation I wouldn’t expect just the refund and def no blacklist

Just MHO, not too much experience:
You won’t get anything besides a refund
You won’t get blacklisted
I don’t think you should expect it within a day, more like a week or two

It's Turkish......
Keep records of all communications so you have proof that it was within 24 hours etc
They love to play stupid and say you didn't request in time or via the proper channels etc
Play your cards and let Dot fight it (you may need to file a formal complaint)
Remember according to DOT the 24 hours does not apply within 1 week of departure

Of course ymmv but my last DOT got reply from airline within a half hour. Yes if it takes longer np the whole idea was to switch cards it’s hit or miss if you can pull that of before price changes and before the flight date. Point is it’s worth a try…

no.  I would book the new one first.  If it’s not available any more or went up, you have the option to keep the old booking.

I didn't have a number to call I waited a few hours and I canceled online it said there will be a fee of 660 I canceled and right away filed a dot complaint on July 31 it past already two anD half months and I didn't hear back from them so I tried disputing the charge and chase came back that I have no case because I agreed to the terms
Does someone have  any advice what I can do?

The fee is £60 not 600
It is very clear in the terms
The fee is a travel agency fee nothing to do with the airline

The only thing you can try to fight is if the fee wasn't disclosed but generally it is buried in the general website terms
There is a reason it pays to research any agency before you buy and in many cases it is better to book direct anc cut out possible problems with the middleman

Regarding DoT
If you filed against the airline they will not respond as it is not relevant to them
Against the agency then you need to make sure it was addressing the claim in a way that was actually valid
If you actually think you have a case go formal
