Right, the same way Apple makes a convenient charging cord to accommodate human beings who already have charging cords.

C'mon man, it's not a regular charging cord, it's a Lighting® cord!

Apple, the Apple logo, Lightning, cr@pple, and other brand names and marketing BS are property of Apple Inc. and may only be used with express written permission of Apple Inc.

Either way, this "outdated" and "ancient" tech is being brought back. By Apple.
I daresay we'll see another flagship phone with SD storage again.

Not really relevant to the convo. SD card definitely makes sense in the Macbook Pro which is used by many pros and has a much narrower market than the iPhone. It should have never been removed. Macbook Air is somewhere in the middle, but given that size is the main selling feature and it's for more casual use they can get away with no SD card.
Magsafe is a huge mistake that they removed it, another obvious backwards step, glad that's back.

I would be surprised if when it comes out, it's not a iSD card, which is exactly the same as a regular SD card except that it costs double and doesn't fit in any other device.

The SD slot in my MB Pro is a regular standard slot, no reason to assume it will be proprietary.

It's relevant in that companies can realize they made a mistake by alienating their power users by removing SD storage. Clearly Apple never did that on phones, but Samsung has zigzagged before.

Got your point, just don't think it makes sense for Samsung to bring it back on their phones unless it's a higher end version for professionals like the equivalent of iPhone 12 Pro.

AKA, Note 21 Ultra.
But it should have been on the S21 Ultra.
