We need Dan to report back on the $50 TB charge. I had literally thought of doing that and figured I'd check here if someone else did before paying up.

And maybe check MPX while we're at it, but better if someone actually has a need to buy a GC there to not waste money.

Lots of data points on Flyertalk for WN tickets being reimbursed (under $100). B6 too but that you already had someone confirm here as well.

DL people have gotten reimbursement for tickets when payment is combined with gift card.

I know many here are diehard DDF fans (I obviously read and post here as well), but Flyertalk has a much broader and larger member base. They have a separate thread for each airline where people post valid data points and I have found those to be quite accurate and very helpful.

did some before 15th and got credited, some afterwards did not, however generally if you chat with them after 14 days they can apply it manually [wouldnt recommend it as a strategy moving forward, but for those who already did the charge and are expecting the credit....]

If I book a $300 DL flight with $50 GC and $250 on Aspire, will i get the full $250 credited?

United killed option to use travelbank credit and ETC for same booking. Won't work online or on phone.

I charged $50 into my United Travel Bank on February 5 and it did not credit. I have to cancel my Platinum card at the end of the month to avoid the annual fee - is there anyway to use up the $200 before I cancel? This just reinforces my decision not to renew the Platinum and keep my Chase.

I recently booked a ticket with Trav Bank. I canceled the ticket a couple hours later, but they did not refund the travelbank funds. Needed to huca many times, until I finally got a nice rep who called both the refund dept and the travbank dept, and had them refund the travbank. It was stuck somewhere in between the 2 because it was showing as 'voided' and not canceled, and void doesn't need to be refunded, until I got the rep to explain that it does...
B'kitzur, if you are buying with TB and need to cancel, wait until after the 24 hrs before canceling.

Pardon my ignorance, but I'm not understanding the part about refunding to Travelbank. Isn't a United Travelbank purchase no longer working for the $200 Platinum airline credit?
