Maiden vs. married name on reservations
« on: January 18, 2021, 08:30:11 AM »
DW has a license with married name, but didn't update passport yet. Is there a way to get her married name on airline reservations as well so she doesn't need to take along her passport for domestic flights?

(She misplaced her GE card and can't seem to get around to ordering a new one.)

If already booked, no. If not booked yet, book to match the license (and always make sure to book the right away, based off which travel document she’ll be carrying).

Thanks, but what about the FF account?

I also have this question RE AA credit card. It’s under her maiden name and I want to make use of the free bags.

I think AA has an option to merge accounts if you have under 2 names. Prob requires documentation though.
