Marriott announces reduced of peak redemptions. book by Feb 21, stay by sep 30

Marriott has promised to reduce off-peak redemption rates globally by 10% for all reservations through September 30, 2021 booked between January 11, 2021 and February 21, 2021.

Seems very glitchy.  Srbh pricing at 85k and then a second layer for 63k for same night. And that's not off peak

I got the same glitch, showed 63,000 at RC in St. Thomas (252,000 for 5 nt.)
But then reservation showed 85,000 nt. (340,000/5 nt.).
I called Elite services at 8005354028, spoke to Jim from Nebraska who kept reservation at 340,000 pts. but separately credited me back the difference (88,000 pt)

Wow that's really lucky ! Imho whats going on is just a glitch that is displaying the 63k even for nights that are standard pricing and when you try booking it reverts back to regular 85k standard rate. I have found places where the 63k remained even after booking which probably means that that night was off peak and would have been 70k(although there is no way to know for sure).
