I don't think I suggested that. I said the outcome would improve unity. I didn't speak for the D's motives.

The more extreme extreme gets the more the normal moves in that direction as normal is only a median. So due to the far left trump became extreme, when in reality he is the normal one.

Technically, nothing. Some think the constitution is unfair in the sense that it doesn't respect the wishes of the majority of the country, and democratic thing would be to amend it.

Personally, I think the Federal government was designed when it had a much smaller role in our day to day life, IINM there was no income tax for the first 100 years of this country.

Who are those people...let them read up a bit on the nations history and how it came to be.
P.S. good luck amending it as I believe even one state can object...
