American Express Platinum- "Receive a $200 Travel Credit"

I have the following offer on my card which is separate from the $200 Airline incidental fee credit:

"Book through American Express Travel to receive up to $200 in statement credits for eligible travel purchases on your eligible Platinum Card. Through December 31, 2021."

Is there any way to take advantage of this credit if I decide to cancel my card at the end of this month when the annual fee is due?

Thank you.  I don't see anything about how to use the $200 credit without renewing the card.  I was going to cancel the card since they wouldn't give me a retention offer, but maybe I should consider renewing.

I believe the credit becomes available the first day of your renewal month. Maybe you can use it right away and wait for the credit to post and then cancel? Not sure. I haven't used mine yet so don't know how long it takes to post.

I used mine at United cuz I still don't have the united card #5/24vibes so I paid for suitcases with it... It posts within 2 business days

This particular credit requires booking through Amex Travel - you paid baggage fees through Amex Travel - or are you referring the airline incidental fee credit?
