@ Ponash123 How did you decide on Guatemala?

Doing a winter trip to Central America and each country has its own reasons for and against.

Hi,

It just had a nice sound to it. Plenty of beauty, culture, Kosher food, close to NY etc.

You didn’t consider Honduras or Costa Rica?

Considered Costa Rica briefly but Guatemala sounded more interesting.

Do you think going October 1st makes sense, or the rain season will ruin our trip?

I don't see why not. Rainy season is officially May through October, but I don't think it majorly impacts anything and only rains an hour or two a day

@ponash123 again a Top TR, very complete, fun reading and nice pictures.

Concerning high altitude, everyone reacts differently, some very fit will have a hard time and some average guys will have a relatively easy time.

Any other TR of yours I have missed out?

I know that they recently instituted a vaccine requirement for entering. I don't know about any of the actual activities there.
