You have to cancel and rebook. I’ve had the best luck by chatting with them from my iPhone - they have a special messaging setup from iOS, and the reps are generally pretty good.

Question:

I messed up.

I booked a one way ticket on a 6:00 AM flight instead of a 6:00 PM flight, weeks ago. I just noticed my mistake and the correct flight is 5x the cost now and the flight I need is VERY full, only a couple of seats left.

I am Platinum.

What are my best options of getting my flight switched without paying the extra cost?

Do I reach out now, 4 days before the flight?
Do I wait until 24 hours before the flight?

Is there any chance that they will move me without having to pay extra?
