I have a couple questions about targeted offers.

1. Tons of targeted offers come to my office addressed to the previous tenant. Can I use his targeted offers considering they have unredeemed codes, or are they name-specific?

2. Despite having excellent credit, 9 CCs ($60K in CL, oldest line 8 years) and a car lease, I have never once received an offer. My wife who has poor credit and only 1 CC receives targeted offers on almost a daily basis. Why would that be? And how can I start getting them?

A targeted offer for the Amex PRG card (50k after 1k spend) came in the mail for a tenant who used to live at my house.

I noticed that the invite code works on the Amex site, and I can put in any name I want in the application form.

Anyone know if this will work? (Not in the mood of another hard inquiry for no reason.)

That's the language they use always but it's 100k for you to keep and do whatever you want with them.

Similar experience, i was targeted for a bluesky from amex, I went to the site and put my name in and discovered a 75k offer for gold for me. Took both

says she was declined for the spg biz and the other 2 in progress also this is her first amex cards
and its not letting me the reason why it was declined... what she ould i do? call up or just accept that im declined or does this mean all three will be declined?
