Yes. 12 months arrears plus 3 months of forward-rent paid in advance to the landlord.

It's a slow trickle at this point.

If I own one home, and am not living in it and am renting elsewhere, am I eligible for this?

You'd be eligible on your rental unit, yes.

As of 8/31 NJ will be raising the income limits to 120% AMI, to allow more renters to apply.

I got 2 emails today, one from Ocean County RERAP asking for some basic info to process my application and another from NJDCA ERAP notifying me that my pre-application has been selected. How do I proceed now? Which one do I go with? Do I try both to make sure I get at least one, or to see who would pay more?

I don't advise submitting with both, because you can only have one active application and if they both check the system at the same time you'll get rejected from both.

Both have the same eligibity requirements, so they should pay your landlord the same amount- no difference there.

I've seen decent processing times with the NJ statewide program once you get selected- I'm not that familiar with the Ocean County program.

NY is currently funding June applications for those at or below 50% AMI, so for those that applied then it's more about income level than the exact date they applied.

Wasn’t it supposed to be first come first served after 30 days? I guess current applicants would have to wait anyway under those terms.

They only started paying in late July/early Aug, so looks like they're starting the 30 day clock from the first payout.

Hopefully this doesn’t mean nobody above 50% even gets considered until the 30 days are up...

I have since gotten a whole bunch. Varying on tenant type. Doesnt seem like there was any system to it.
