Sweet. Sounds like someone who’s been way behind, must be a breath of fresh air to get paid.

Bh, they've been coming in. Waiting on a few dozen more. Its a pity there is nothing for commercial tenants though

With the Ds in power it’s hard to see that coming.

Thought I saw in the FAQs that they approve you and hold the funds, and the tenant can show that to the landlord or housing court if it comes to that.

The system is:
1) applied in June
2) under 50% AMI

I'd be very interested to hear if anything received doesn't fall into both of the above. (You might not know #2 if the tenant applied).

NYS? They don't seem to require 2020 tax returns at all. See all the options in section 3A of their official documentation list, including self attestation if none of the other options are available.

Same, no tax returns needed. See their monthly income options in their required information list.

applied early june (when opened) (though landlord finally getting involved now)

now the portal shows whatever arrears info I entered up until then. Jul-Aug, showing $0 Monthly Rent $0 Past due

current status:
Application Status:     Pending Quality Cont

Overall Application Status:     Under Review

Question: do I "Update Application" with new numbers (and upload stubs etc.)?
or will that just reset the clock?

They'll tell you that any updates will most likely slow down processing.
If you already owe 12 months of arrears without it there's no point in updating. If you don't receive the full 12+3 when approved you can apply again until you receive the maximum (assuming you meet the rules again).

Note that they don't update the status on top. The only way to know if it was paid is in the status chart.
Payment Processing Status will say "Sent" and Payment Status will say "Cleared".

less than 12 months of arrears
I guess my main question is if the last 2 months are at 0, will that affect the  "+3"
