Recommendations for home use?  Things to know before you buy? Info on downloading/creating CAD files?   Valuable website(s)?

Did you ever get one? I'm considering getting one although I really don't need it at all.

I would want to be able to use plastic bottles as filament. I don't know which printers would be able to use it. And if there are any ready made machines that can turn it into filament.

I did some research, but have not yet bought one.  Interesting to use plastic bottles as filament.  In a search, I found at least one machine that could do it, but there are drawbacks, and it does not seem cost effective, i.e., if you want to do it to save money, it'll be a long time before you pay off the machine from savings.

I just bought a refurbished ender 3v2 for $169 using code "flashsale" https://www.comgrow.com/products/creality-refurbished-3d-printer?variant=32868117676075

Comes with a 1 year warranty so not worried about broken parts.
