X:IAH or just IAH as a routing code should work. Are you searching JFK? I think UA doesn't have a flight JFK-IAH that gives you a legal (<4hr) connection to the IAH-SEA flight.

LGA is what you want. EWR is technically possible but at least 2x the price.

I found for 877 with the return stopping in ORD which is short 1700 miles

If only short 1700 Aegean miles, you will only have to also MR something like NYC-MCO in a class that credits 1=1 to Aegean (V or higher on UA). I guess you could also do something like NYC-SAN (usually has decent deals) in G class or higher earning 1 = .5

LGA-IAH-SEA-IAH-LGA in A will get you 6581mi which is greater than the 6334 needed (x3 + 1000 signup bonus).
PHL-IAH-SEA-IAH-PHL in A makes the cut at 6397 but the fares are significantly higher.

Your bags get "taged" thru, you need to claim them and drop them off again, but it uses the same tag

Didn't realize the direction...
LAX to EWR connecting to TLV is considered an "Intl" Trip, so the luggage, which gets checked all the way, follow the Intl rules

What does it mean on Aegean chart minimum miles united A,F 1500?

If I fly on class A I get automatically 1500 miles?

I will make 2 small trips domestically and get 3000

Weird, I had a domestic itinerary as recent as a few months ago showing both bag fees waived for *G... must've been a glitch. Oh well.

Maybe that's why.
