I don't have many info at the moment, but i was informed that in order to keep the gold status you will have to earn 12000 tier miles per year (4 flights OA/A3 included) or 24000 tier miles (if not OA or A3 is included).

I am one of the chumps that booked a UA flight SEA>LGA but haven't completed travel. What are the most accepted excuses for canceling/ or least monetarily painful ways to cancel?

Anyone else see the email that came in from Aegean it includes this line that I think may change it from bad to not so bad - We introduce new services, as per your request:
“Together” program that allows up to 6 people to collect miles into a common account.

Anyone else wasting their time to SEA later today??? Would change it for $200 fee but booked my flights in the near future already.

Edit: Decided to credit the $ to my account. Got the $200 change fee waived. They couldn't issue a refund so they rebooked me to refundable fare with no fee and told me to request a refund.

I guess I'm glad I couldn't find easily bookable flights.
