Min mean min amount of miles earned, not needed to qualify. For example, if the min is 500, and the flight is 370, you'll earn 500 miles for that flight.
So in short, the least amount of miles you should earn on the above mentioned flight is 100%

thanks...so if i take a 960 mile flight on CO w/ a fare class that earn only 50% - I will get 500 miles - essentially a gift of 20 free miles as the minimum is 500 miles?

Just got off the phone with our Aegean Air friends in Greece...I clarified what the minimum miles factor meant.

It means - flight distance. e.g

LAX-SFO in G = 337 mile flight = no credit at all not even 50% (appx. 168 miles) for G

LAX-SLC in G = 589 mile flight = 50% credit for G = 295 miles

US Air has no mile flight minimums and virtually all fare codes are good with the exception of three, O, I and X - IIRC.

Is this fare code from US the letter U or X? "UXAVNL6P"

Cool. I have a LAX-SFO on CO in L in a couple months so I'll try it and see. In the meantime, any reason to suspect that a 369 mile flight (LAX-PDX) on US in U won't credit 100%?

You should get 500 miles for the CO flight and 369 for the US flight.

According to that agents "logic" if you fly on Adria in discounted economy you only need a 0 mile flight, but if you fly in full economy you would need to fly 500 miles and if you fly in first you would need to fly 1,000 miles to get credit

I noticed that...on UA in F the 'minimum' is 1,500

IYH, it'll all go down well.

Makes me think...if I'm doing a quasi MR to earn just 900 miles to hit *G on Aegean...no real need to go LAX-ORD in G...can't I just go LAX-SFO in G on CO/UA #l'shitascha ?

I'm afraid to risk it though as I live outside the USA and I need to hit 20K on Aegean while in the USA over Pesach...I pray that someone can chime in w/ personal experience....

Just got my *S card from A3. Exp. says 12/15. I'm pretty sure I qualified in December, so that means this status is valid for 4 full years. Also they sent me their award chart in the mail and there's a flat rate for all A3 flight. IIRC it's 22k in coach. Don't now how far they fly, but sounds like theres potential for great value.

it reads: "22K for a r/t international flight"

that's for Aegean Air flights though...for *A flights it refers you to the website http://en.aegeanair.com/milesandbonus/program-description/spend-miles/

it seems that for 110K you can get USA-ISRAEL in Biz so I guess a savings of 10K is something to be happy about if they have reasonable availability...

That can be an amazing value. Wonder if it's limited to 1 segment or incl. connection in ATH i.e. TLV-ATH-NYC

Dan, they had a cc offer for greek citizens in the pamphlet...perhaps we can figure out a way to get one..you get bumped to Blue just for getting the card as you get 7,000 miles for opening.
