Hey, if anyone can help , that would be great.
My wife and I are flying AC class K and L from tlv-yyz-lax-yyz-tlv...so from what I understand , I'd only be getting 50% points with a Aegean ff#. If my calculations are correct then that would only come out to roughly 8000 points a person... And we only fly once a year back home.. Is it worth it to put it on Aegean number or maybe make an aero plan number? Also, would it help if I only gave my ff# a couple months after my flight, so that I would have a year from when they issue me the points to get gold status? Thanks

Yes.

(Well, first class earns %150, but I imagine you're talking about economy.)

I'm trying to find out which class I'm in to see how much miles I'll get if I credit it towards Aegean.

I'm flying SAA and it seems i'm in class G

But on Aegean chart, it doesn't show a class G

Any ideas?

I'm trying to find out if I'm in Economy discounted and get 50% or economy class and get 150%

It goes by the carrier awarding the miles.

If you're not going to fly enough to get Gold then it's probably more worth it to credit the miles elsewhere IMHO.

Thanks. But if I only give them my ff# a month after my trip then I would be flying within a year again. So my question is: do u have a year from the flight or from when they credit you?

Question: an LGA-DEN flight on United is showing on Matrix with a fare class that only earns %50 miles with Aegean. However, the same exact flight is codeshared with US Airways for just $9 more - and all US Airways flights earn %100 mileage with Aegean. Would paying the extra nine bucks earn me the full %100 on A3? Or will it somehow go by the operating carrier?
