Does it say anywhere that they are "tier" miles?

They're good for redeeming for flights, silly. Just like any other mileage program.

online is says K but the tickets I received at the airport says Y

I flew with Swiss from tlv to jfk via geneva but the 1st flight was operated by Elal(although the flight was listed as carrier LX), will i receive mileage with Aegean for the 1st flight?

Does anyone have an idea of when US will leave star alliance? I want to get *Gold with Aegean.... 18,000 miles to go.

Any ideas on how to do it quick and as cheap as possible?

I'd assume you have a year or so.

Use ITA to find mileage runs.

I've been trying. I'm not so great at searching. If i have a hear though that's good. How much money do you think I could pull it off for? Obviously a big estimation.

Flying my final mileage run as we speak, CAK-CLT-DEN-CLT-CAK. The first three flights are enough for me to hit 20k; the final flight, CLT-CAK, will go to waste. Is there any way to credit just that leg to UA? Or if I ask an agent to change the FFN for just that flight, it will nevertheless affect all four flights on the itinerary?

Just ask an agent to change the FFN on your last boarding pass and save the BPs

got someone going nyc to tlv tomorrow on ua outbound is q class 100% accrual and back is s class 50% accrual, should he credit the outbound to aegean and get *s and the return to ua or not worth wasting the miles for *s ?
does he need to have a aegean and/or ua account before flying or can it be opened and added later ?
