If I credit it to my United account will I earn status with United?
When i fly United and getting lets say %150 miles because I am a premier gold member I will just earn %100 premier qualifying miles, however when I fly business class ans getting %150 miles will all %150 miles count as premier qualifying?

No. You will earn 125% redeemable miles, zehu. EQMs are only 100%.

Even on business calss? so why did Dan posted that if you fly a first class mileage run with United you earn very easy A3 gold status because you earn %300 if just %100 is premier qualifying ?
I maybe askingg very simple question however I am n00b here but I have to know all this now before I fly...

Because United awards premier qualifying miles differently than Aegean does. Aegean almost never differentiates between the two; United has two separate columns on each earning chart, one for redeemable miles, and one for EQMs.

So this is what I wanted to clerify, on United I will never earn more then %100 QM VS on Aegeag right?
When I credit Jet Airways miles to my United account I will not earn any status with United right? CMIIW on this 2 please.

2 questions,
1. Can anyone confirm that I, US citizen, cannot get the Aegean credit card that gives a bonus of 5000 miles?
2. This one is a little out there, but: I have Pres+ card and a bunch of FlexEQMs. is there a way to get them over to Aegean toward *G?
3. I want to book a Turkish flight JFK-TLV on orbitz/webjet/kayak and they dont say fare class, only "Economy Class" on Aegean's chart, http://en.aegeanair.com/milesandbonus/program-description/earn-miles/#TURKISH it groups some classes "Economy Class" and "Economy Discounted" does anyone have experience with this? What % miles would I earn on "Economy Class" ticket?

Flying SA to Johan and Windhoek in a couple weeks. I want to get Aegean gold for this flight. Looks like im gonna be flying a total of ~17,350. With the signup bonus of 1k ill be about 650 short of the Gold. What do you guys recommend to fill the gap? Thanks.

Sorry did the math from 19k not 20. So 1,650. Is there any other way? I guess transferring miles from other accounts wouldnt work.

Having read this cool idea on DD I signed up for a free 1K and then started my life of flying (for my own needs) and applying the miles to Aegean. So, when flying from Chicago to California on United, I was shocked to find out (when I arrived at the airport) that I would be required to pay 25 bux, since I have an explorer card.

Why? Because I was applying my miles to Aegean, they would not recognize my "status" on United when the points are going towards Aegean. Here is a question, why am I doing this :-)

If I ever do get my 20K (which I have meticulously planned out) using flights I am have planned to be going on in the next few months, will I get my Aegean status and its benefits while flying on the UAL MP?

If the explorer card status/rights does not work when flying on United under Aegean, why will a gold status on Aegean work when flying under UAL MP on united? Ami I missing something??

P.S. I did not "complain" as much as show my shock and they worked it out after I whipped out my Explorer card and they let my box/bag go through for free - so Kudos to United - but my question stands.

Your A3 FFN must be attached at time of checkin to get bennies.

You can check post-check in.

OK, so why would one want to do this? Sure, you get to gold faster - but to use the bennies you have to give the points to A3! So, if you go to Israel and want to have the bennies - you have to sacrifice those miles to A3 rather than UAL? What am I missing? In the end, you will have tons of miles on a plan most cannot use?

Is that correct?
