Question, does Aegean look at the eTicket and class to credit  miles, or actual metal flown?

For me it was always the airline issuing the eTicket that counted, but some people made me doubt.

Same plane, same cabin:
You can buy it as AC or UA.
It's a UA plane, but only the booking class as a AC gives you miles.

I buy a $5000 BRU IAD BRU in business ticketed as a air Canada P class, but obviously operated by United.

Assuming it goes by metal, how will they determine which class it would have been by United?
(I know United for mileage GS or so, require actual metal)

It says on the Blue card *A Silver.

As for the card it dies say *AS and not only that the lady on Lufthansa told me that if I wouldve had the card with me that says on it *AS they would tweet me at silver

I know that but they are still on the Aegean list I seem to remember that it was talked about somewhere on DDF already that they stayed code shares

exactly I would post 1 mile more than what I need to.
Its just a pain in the neck to get to this 20,000 miles it sounds way easier then what it is every time I get excited for getting closer and then I realize that I'm only getting 50% from that flight so with 5 flights I only got 10,000 miles such a pain.

If you have a roundtrip flight and switch your ff# from A3 to UA for miles accrual after checkin, lounge, baggage, etc, right before your departing flight, are you out of luck for your return flight? Or can you specify that the ff# only be switched for your outbound flight? Is the only way to fix this by booking 2 one-ways rather than rt? Or am I missing something else? Thanks for the help!

Just FYI, got my aegean gold status last week. Walked in to lax today and gave them my A3 number. Now its free baby carrots for me and a guest
