September Sunday-Mondays are in the 800-900 range when going SEA-IAH-LGA. Just looked at AJK's route of SEA-ORD-LGA but then realized it's not enough miles as I need 19K.

Any idea why for some dates the LGA-IAH leg comes up as C and not A?

@Yehude and some other guys here, if you're not flying often its not even worth $500, maybe that's why you're wife is not so exited about it.    Because it's a deal for some people (who fly often) does not mean that it is a deal for others.

I hear that. We are definitely not crazy travellers, but if we go to DEN 3 times a year (lounge access) and take 1-2 vacations a year (if on *A then all the priority benefits and bags) and this actually lasts for a lifetime - or at least a few years, then you still don't think it's worth it?

Well, I don't think anyone transfers to A3, so it seems that with 20K you can max get a OW ticket somewhere and be stuck with 7-9K in your account.
