3 x 70 pound bags for everyone on your ressie is a massive benefit.  And if you qualify in January 2012 the status is good until December 2015, that's 4 years folks.

where is this 3x70 bags for all on reservation listed for star alliance gold members, this is what I saw on Aegean website "Special Baggage Allowance on Star Alliance carriers. As a Gold Member, you are entitled to  additional 20 kg (44 pounds) where the weight concept applies, or one additional piece of luggage where the piece concept applies. For flights on Aegean Airlines only one extra piece of baggage is applied." and this is what I saw on Star alliance website "As a Gold Status holder you can choose not to travel light. We allow an additional 20 kg (44 pounds) where the weight concept applies, or one additional piece of luggage where the piece concept applies." ?

They don't know the allowances.

Baggage allowance can be found on each airline's individual website. And the benefit for companions is generally only for US-based airlines.

Any suggestions on a mileage run for July August to get Aegean gold status I currently have around 6k? Have been brushing up on the concept of mileage runs from different links on the forums and flyer talk but could use a little more direction on practically figuring it out (I see that us air is better w coach and united better with first and multiple stops are better and a lot of references to ITA searches though a little unclear exactly how you tailor all of this to ones needs)
