So credit to aeroplan.

Can you combine aeroplan accounts from same household afterwards? United for that matter?

Thanks

I don't fly a lot. And I always fly alone, so I have no clue about most of these stuff. Feel free to be :o.
the issue  i found with Aegean is that there in no one 1800 number so u are calling Greece when your miles for some reason were not credit and cost a few $ per min

You'll earn 100% of your flown miles.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi all,

Just made a reservation using 12,500 united miles for travel on air canada. I have star alliance gold from aegean, and wanted to add this to the reservation in place of my non-status united number. Is this possible either online or anyone have success on the phone?

(I know that by british airways for example, you just go to finnair and switch it there.)

TIA if anyone can help, would be greatly appreciated.

Just tried doing it over the phone, they were able to add delete my mileage plus number, but were not able to put in the A3 number.

I would not risk trying someone else's number. Even if you somehow get it to stick, you can get into trouble if they catch you using it for free bags - they can bill you (and possibly fine you as well), and if they're in a really bad mood, they can target your mileage account as punishment, as well as report to the airline of your friend's account that it's being used fraudulently, and get him shut down as well. (I know someone who somehow got someone else's number to work, then got caught - he got into huge trouble for it. I don't remember exactly what happened to him, but I remember he said it was totally not worth the free bags.)
