What are you NYC guys doing to get to PHL? Train? Drive?

I was considering doing it but seems like getting the PHL increases the cost significantly.

decided i dont like the overnight in LAS.
only doing 1/29-1/29 PHL-LAS-PHL

also doing same on 2/5, 2/26 and 3/4
17,412 miles toward A3 *G for life.
Total cost $512 = $0.029/mile is awesome Thanks @Dan!

Can even play slots in LAS for a few mins!  8)
I know someone going on ur 1/29 flights

Seems like a lot of time & effort for something that could die in a few weeks. I could see doing it once or twice, but four times?
Actually, USAir is leaving *A end of March, so I want to get A3 *G before then. It will be much harder as USAir is basically the only airline that gives u 100% miles for any class fare.

Hello Guys,

I have a flight that starts on Luftansa and ends on United and was bought on united.com If I set my airline mileage number to my Aegean gold status number an and print my boarding pass and such and then change it to MP on united.com, will it stay that way, or will Luftansa pass the first part (the Luftansa leg) to A3?

Thanks!

Did anyone try status matching to Aegean recently? Do they status match at all?

from what ive read on FT, no.
"From Aegean:
...we do not offer a status match campaign currently. However, we would like to assure you that Aegean's Loyalty Program does not have demanding tiers, as on 4.000 tier miles you become a Blue member/ Silver Star Alliance and on 20.000 tier miles (4.000 plus 16.000) you achieve Gold status/ Gold Star Alliance."

I'm *S and I've been getting a 25% bonus on US Airways flights credited to United.  Does A3 also give any kind of bonus for folks who are *S?  The potential bonus would put me over the mark for *G!

Hey guys any ideas for this Q?
My wife and I both flew US Airways to Israel. Any chance of opening an Aegean account with my first name and using her first name as a middle name and crediting both to the account at separate times. Any idea of possible chance this will work?

Hypothetically even if it would (which I doubt), you can't get credit in the same FF account twice for the same flights

In case this is of interest to anyone - IT WORKED!!! I used my Gold A3 status, got two boxes, access to the lounge, and then changed the FFN to UA, and I got my MP miles.

Hi, I have a (possibly stupid) question. I have a USAirways flight to Milan  ;) for April 2. Any way I can credit this to Aegan? I'm assuming no because it's leaving Star Alliance before then. Also, it's an AA flight. TIA

You hit the nail in the head. AA flights won't credit to A3.

Hey I've done hours of research about aegan before Im posting so i think its a fair question. If I'm looking now to book a round trip ticket from tlv-lax on a *A member, how do i find out in advance how many miles i'll be able to credit to aegan. Because most times the fare class doesnt show. Especially if i book through an app such as skyscanner.
Any advice? TIA

On UA you can search expert mode to see the class. You can always PUTPAC the airline, they will be able to tell you the class.

Ok, but what about when searching for tickets through apps. Some of these apps (skyscanner) are really convenient for searching and for finding cheap fares, just the problem is how do you find out the fare class when using these apps?
