IINM when you find a cheap fare on any of the booking sites you can always go to the airline direct and search for the same flight and you will get the same rate.

I booked a flight on brussels airline from tlv-lax and unfortunately i just found out that the fare class that im flying in is not eligible for accrual for aegean miles and bonus miles to reach a status. That really suck cause it costs a grand and it was a good oppurtunity to get those miles. Is there ANYTHING i can do to get those miles credited??

When crediting miles flown on UA to Aegean will those segments count as the 4 minimum segments that UA requires to get their status? (I know that they will not be PQS, but my question is if this will be enough for the minimum 4 segment requirement)

Yes. Pay to "upgrade" your ticket to a higher fare class. Or cancel and rebook something else.

Of course not. How on earth is MileagePlus even supposed to know you flew those segments, if you're crediting them to a different program?!

Thanks, I bought the ticket on cheapoair.com. Im departing on brussels and returning on lufthansa. Should i call up the airlines or cheapoair.com to upgrade?

i took your advice and called to ask for upgrade. Problem is that it cost an extra grand to do that. (I also cant cancel because thats their policy. Guess im stuck-gam zu letova

That's usually the vicious cycle of neither of them having enough power to make those changes and they each put on fees and blame it on the other.

I'm flying JFK-TLV in July with Turkish in P class, Aegean shows zero milage accrual for P, which FFN program should I award my ticket to?

I also have an option of paying $100 to upgrade to V class which shows 50% accrual with Aegean & 100% with united, is it worth it? & can I get anything with P class,

I looked around for this answer but couldn't find it. I think this is the best area to post.
When do airlines cut you off from changing your ff# from A3 to their ff# so I can earn real miles?
I'm getting A3 *G today and tested how late I can switch #s but didnt nail down an exact time.
Is it posted anywhere?

There is a law here in Israel for anyone who booked leaving Israel that you have two weeks to fully cancel your flights and pay a fine of 100₪ I know someone who just did it

If you're going for *G on A3, then an Israel trip, even at 50% is worth the extra $100 IMO.

US Airways will retain A3 and a bunch of *A airlines as partners!
Ostensibly, this means that A3 *G can use those benefits on US after 3/30!
