I believe it's quoting the rogachover that mordechai and רוב אחיו were arguing in מחלוקת בבלי וירושלמי

I know that the Rebbe told the story of the Rogatchover, that when he was asked to get involved in askanus he responded that it is a מחלוקת בבלי וירושלמי referring to this chiluk.

I don't know if this story was told in the context of Mordechai.

ETA: The Rebbe connected the story of the Rogatchover to the difference in approach between Mordechai and מקצת סנהדרין.

Minor correction; the gemara says פרשו ממנו מקצת סנהדרין. The implication is that the majority of the Sanhedrin agreed with his actions.

Rabbah or Rava?

On that note, the maggid shiur of our daf yomi shiur, Rav Eliyohu Yitzchok Pincus, always comes up with a teirutz to any kashya that is put to him. Even if the teirutz seems incredibly unlikely, he feels that he cannot allow a question to go unanswered. On one occasion, someone told him that he found a particular answer to be unsatisfying. Rav Eliyohu responded by quoting the Gemara’s account of how Rabbah killed Rabi Zeira during a Purim seudah.

“Many have asked a kashya: How is it possible that Rabbah would kill Rabi Zeira?” Rav Eliyohu said. “Some answer that there is a different girsa of the text of the Gemara, in which the story deals with Rava rather than Rabbah.”

Of course, this evoked a storm of objections from the shiur’s participants: What difference did it make whether the Amora in question was Rabbah or Rava? The same question should apply to Rava: How could he have killed Rabi Zeira?

Rav Eliyohu smiled and replied loudly, “Well, we answered the kashya on Rabbah, and now you are left with a kashya on Rava. That is a different question, and we will deal with it at another time….”

The answer is that we want to counter the claim of mefuzar umeforad, that we don't care about each other, so we show how much we care even about the mi'ut.
So we take the ו" החיבור" and move it to the beginning to make "וישן" to flip the עלילה which begins with "ישנו".

Purim Kiddush. Works best if each line is sung in the proper way (ie taamim for the pesukim, nusach for the parts of tefilah, songs as sung, the krias shma as krias shema, and don't forget the yekkishe shir hamaalos). By zeh chalifasi, you have to wave the cup of wine over your head.

The United Nations issued a strong condemnation against the Jews after the brutal hangings of Haman his ten sons and the widespread murders of Amaekites throughout the Persian Empire.
