fyi just my hunch that next week more seats on ua91 will open up . when the sem and yeshiva boys that have seats cancel their flights. I have two sem girls that have seats that will probably cancel next week.

I am cancelling tomorrow night. Anyone know if United is looking for people to give up seats on tomorrow night's flight? Online wants over 900 to switch...

Why is United flying a cargo only flight tonight from TLV>EWR (UA2792)? Isn't the logic to limit incoming passengers? I understand why this would be a cargo only flight coming into TLV, but what is the logic of flying back empty, when there are hundreds booked on these cancelled flights?

Is it Israel not allowing them to fly with passengers? What would be the logic in that? Is it United policy that won't allow them to fly one way cargo and one way with passengers? Is it the lack of crew? I am sure that a packed flight would be profitable enough to fly in a crew.

I know there is no sense to figure out this craziness, but I can't figure this one out.

The logic is that flights carry out Israelis who end up returning with the virus. Yes, there are better ways of controlling that, but the government is incompetent.

United just reinstated UA85 from TLV to EWR on March 15/16/17 (and possibly more dates). So the United 10am flight from TLV will operate at least on some dates next week!

As far as I understand, the flight number will be changed, but the flight will be operating
