"Will she be willing to shave off her hair after the chupah?" She was not chassidish, only sort of heimish. I said no, without asking her. I told the girl after she was happily married to someone else for several years. She thanked me enthusiastically.

Real question:

What would you do if you found $1,000 lying in the street Shabbos morning?

Side comment: I love how @ExGingi's disdain for middle squeezers shines through his posts.
If you don't care why would you comment?

Punch yourself in the face, see stars, say Baruch Hamavdil & you’re good to go.

I think usually on such important matters the shidduch won't happen anyway before getting a clear affirmation.

(And btw.. Welcome to the forums! What a great way to learn about DDF.. Would be the most unique option here..)

do something muktza
Pet peeve. Muktza is a noun, you can't 'do' muktza.

It was weird because the woman gave no previous indication that she’d want a girl like that.

when being asked about an overweight girl -
"So which weight loss methods has she tried?"  and   "doesn't she care about her health"

And that, Dr, is when the eating disorder started

Reminds me of a something a shadchan told a Yeshivish friend of mine's sister - "He comes from a Chasidish family, but don't worry, he has no plans on wearing a streimel when he gets married"
