If you're a local, it's one thing, however if it's your first time there and you make 1 wrong turn, you may end up in unfamiliar and unsafe territory. Waze is set to block certain areas, so you'll be left on your own... Been there, done that and I now have a great story to tell but would never do it again  ;)

I guess it's not something used for "Zionist propaganda". That's their main (only?) objection, as far as I understand.
Kotel and Chevron are propaganda?

Kotel and Chevron are propaganda?

Kotel definitely is.

That doesn't mean one shouldn't go to the כותל המערבי.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Lol, though to be fair if I'm talking in conversational Hebrew, it's always with a t. And if I'm referring to the Kosel, it's probably in conversational Hebrew.

You are making my point for me.

In the context of this thread I would have written Kosel since I would be referring to the srid beis mikdaseinu and it would have nothing at all to do with what language is spoken in the State of Israel. That the site is something thought of as connected to conversational hebrew is an example of it being zionist.

Or just how you talk if asking for directions in Israel?

What does that have to do with this thread? In that case I would also call it kotel.

In their view. I personally don't think it's relevant 50 years later, but I probably would say the same then, too.

Unfortunately, the Zionists are making their propaganda and agenda only stronger. Just look at last week, they totally took over the "holocaust" for their agenda (and made it global), on a date that is important for their agenda and opposed to Torah, and literally terrorize anyone that doesn't line up with their agenda.

They are doing everything to make things into national symbols, where the nationalism isn't Jewish nationalism (אין אומתנו אומה אלא בתורתה) but rather Zionist (read: כחי ועוצם ידי) nationalism.

I'm sure you know what Osgevepede seltzer is. I don't see Zionism as a threat anymore. 🤷‍♂️ And I definitely don't see that visiting the Kosel today would make anyone more Zionistic or not or give support to the Zionist ideology.

Or as the Jacobson brothers farbrenged tonight in Tut Altz on another topic regarding the need for unity, some people still act like the remote Japanese soldier who was still shooting at US planes years after the war, because he was never told that the war was over.

100%. We have nothing to gain at this point from Kanuis, and we as a group and all of Klal Yisroel only lose from it. Israel could have looked much different (better) if it wasn't for the Kanuis of recent years. I'm not even talking about the baryanim who have nothing with frumkeit and Yidden in the first place, but just live to set fires and yell gevald.
