Wadi Al Qilt?

I have some awesome pics there from a hike 12 years ago. Very interesting and scenic, the greenery around the streams, mountains, view, desert, rock formations and caves, and Bedouin with sheep and goats.
It's on top of the abandoned army lookout position overlooking Jericho

Accessible via the scary dirt road from mitzpeh

the views there are insane

So you can get there on a hike from Wadi Al Qult. I think it's the same place that you're talking about.

Pick North or Masada/dead sea or extend your trip.
Agreed. Unless this is a once in a lifetime trip (which might be the case judging by how long it took you to get here  :P), I'd base myself in the North from Motzei until the end of the trip. So much to do there it would be a waste to use half your time driving.

Ok, trip is getting closer and it's time to start figuring out the details lol.

It seems pretty unanimous that stuffing the north and Dead Sea et al into two days is nuts, so we're scrapping that.

Here's what I have so far, with some questions in bold:

Wednesday:
Arrive TLV 7pm. Head to our apartment in Jlem for dinner and bed.

Thursday:
Probably wake up late. Breakfast, Kosel (GEVAAAAAALD), Har Hazeisim (family and Ohr Hachaim). Afternoon private Muslim Quarter tour with @satturn. Dinner. Evening Kever Rochel (how do I get there? Taxi is safe? I'd rather not take the bus.)

Friday:
Private guided tour and bird banding at the Jerusalem Bird Observatory. Shuk, Kikar Hashabbos, Mea Shearim, wander about, get ready for Shabbos. Kosel Friday night davening.

Shabbos:
Visit family and relax a bit.

Sunday:
Pick up rental car in Jlem and head to Amuka/Meron/Tzfas/Teveria area (where do we go here? Way too many places and too little time lol). Overnight Tzfas.

Monday:
Hula Valley in the morning, followed by more local sights (which?). Overnight as close to TLV as possible (ideas?)

Tuesday:
Return car at TLV, 6:55am departure.

Itinerary notes:
Anything to do on Motzei Shabbos?
Up north: I want to go to Meron, Ari, Amuka at the very least. Where else?
Tzfas: would love to wander about and get the real feel for the place. Where exactly do I do that?

As pointed out, I think the rest of Sunday (after your drive) is way too little time for Amuka/Meron/Tzfas/Teveria. Perhaps stretch it into Monday and cut out anything further North. If you have extra time on Monday, can always stop somewhere on the coast (Haifa, Caesarea, etc.) on your way to TLV.

We did Migdal David light show on Motzei Shabbos. Don't recall it being anything special, but was nice seeing the place.

Some notes from my trip a decade ago:
Tzfas:
- Beis Hachaim - Ari Hakudesh mikvah + others
- Old city walk
- Shuls: Two Ari Shuls, (Ashkanazi and Sefardi), Avuhav Shul
- Rebbe Yosef Karo’s house
- Old City excavations
- Safed candle factory

Teveria:
- Kevurim: Location 1 - The Rambam, Rebbi Yochanan ben Zakai, Rebbi Eliezer ben Hurcanus. Location 2 - Rebbi Akiva and the Ramcha"l on the hill with great views of the kineret. Location 3 - Rebbi Meir Baal Haness
- Yigal Alon promenade

Further north:
- Banias Waterfall
- Nimrod fortress

Also the old cemetery including talmidei habesht and the legend of where the malachim buried the Apta Rov.

When I say north I meant Amuka/Meron/Tzfas/Teveria. I doubt I'll get to much further than that.

Thanks for the other tips, let me have a closer look.

Is there a map somewhere with POIs? It's easy enough to say "go to the Rambam", but where exactly is that?

Google maps is pretty good with POIs.

Works best if you search in hebrew

Just be careful.

Amuka isn't Yonatan Ben Uziel grave
Meron isn't Kever Rashbi (Tomb of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai)

When driving from Tzfas to Meron, you can stop at Abaye and Rava (and Rav Puppa)(oh and Rav Dimi :)  !   Very cool cave and simply incredible view also of the entire golan

I found these to be so cool to be by,

Also Nachum Ish Gamzu smack in the middle of the city of Tzfas!

I was referring to Hula Valley on Monday.

Fishy's trip to Israel reminds me of a great line written by Mark Twain in "Connecticut Yankee"

Yes taxis are safe but I would try to take a Jewish driver. you can see by looking at the sign on or in the car from what company he is.

Finishing your Sunday in tzfas is a little off as meron Tzfas and Amuka are in the same aria but Teveria is father away. You can start in Teveria by driving up the 90  then do Meron and Amuka and finish in tzfas. or you can drive up the 6 do Meron Amuka Teveria and then back to Tzfas.

In the Bais Hachaim in Tzfas you also have the Bais Yosef, the And so many more you can spend there a few hours just exploring and davening. also the mikveh of the Ari.

Use Gett Mehadrin for Jewish drivers or better yet have an individual driver arranged.

Use Gett Mehadrin for Jewish drivers.
Na. Our cousins figured out a while ago that they can lease a gett mehadrin account from yiden who want to make some extra $. Not reliable at all these days.
