I know it's a thing, but seems like the vast majority don't except for maybe Yom Tov as it's just not comfortable or durable.
it's good to be a Lubavitcher
anywhere to get a cheaper silk kapote with decent quality cheaper than on kingston avenue?
Have you tried the wool silk blend?
FWIW, a Shemtov is durable and just as comfortable as wool. But you have to be able to handle dealing with him.
Is that the best of both or the worst of both?
From what I understand, the best
Did you check harstein's pricing?Hartstein Clothing(718) 871-8440https://maps.app.goo.gl/6cYiUMBbvnswYQSz6
Dropped something like $600 on my silk wedding kapota from him. Probably wore it 5 times. Not even close to a HKG wool kapota.
If you think his silk is as comfortable as the wool ones, you need an HKG kapota asap
On my 3rd Primo wool in the last 3-4 years
Link above says that doesn't count. But if it does, the lining on my HKG kapota is silk
