70% of the active duty force across all branches are vaccinated, but only 34% of the whole Army (including Army Reserve and National Guard) are reported vaccinated. The shocking second figure is likely due to poor reporting from the Reserve and Guard on vaccination numbers (there isn’t a real tracking system in place).

All New York City public school teachers and other staffers will have to get vaccinated against the coronavirus, officials said Monday as the nation's largest school system prepares for classes to start next month.

The city previously said teachers, like other city employees, would have to get the shots or get tested weeklyfor the virus. The new policy marks the first flat-out vaccination mandate for city workers in the nation's most populous city.

The fee applies to employees in the airline’s health-care plan who haven’t received shots by Nov. 1. The company also will require weekly testing for employees who aren’t vaccinated by mid-September.

1) personally vaccinated and believe it should be mandated
2) personally vaccinated but believe it should not be mandated
3) not vaccinated but will vaccinate cuz I need the vaccine passport
4) too scared to vaccinate

Also, I am not looking into whether you will vaccinate, rather how vax/anti vax you are.

even if you have antibodies, you may still have to choose one of the last 2 if it's mandated.

Antibodies are not the be all and end all of natural immunity. Having to choose if its mandated...I'm not in Israel or subject to any real mandate so 3 is a choice I could live with. I dont think its unsafe just pretty confident I dont need it.

This looks like a very sensible compromise, but they should need to pay for the tests themselves.

My understanding is that peak transmissibility is typically for a period of under 24h so a weekly test has very little impact.

Self administered tests aren't really a burden - NYPD should just stock up on them and make the test daily.

I think the idea is to make it such a hassle not to vaccinate that those who are on the fence will find vaccination to be the path of least resistance.
