My understanding is they do business with the government so their employees are required to get vaccinated. My view is you should be vaccinated to fly.

At Blackhawks games you are required to show proof of vaccination. It is showing up everywhere.

So please lets leave out the irrelevant question of federal workers because that is only regarding employees. I am taking issue with making them into the vaccine police and arbitrarily and randomly making the airline (or dining) industry the vaccination police while leaving other industries intact.

They are issuing the mandate where they feel they can. It is not like they are saying AA you have to vaccinate and UA doesn't.

They use up hospital beds. IIRC that was used as an excuse for vaccine mandates, as well as some saying unvaxxed should be denied care because they take away resources.

My point about holding people at gun point is that's what a vaccine mandate is trying to do, if you twist someones arm behind their back they will be forced to oblige. While some people can afford to lose their jobs, others are left to choose between getting vaccinated and feeding their family or being homeless. I think such forceful measures are akin to holding people at gun point. It really makes me sick to hear such forced vaccinations touted as "effective", to that I say why stop there? Gun point is more effective.

If you can't see the difference between a vaccine mandate and holding a gun to someone's head then this discussion is pointless.

How would that fit with denying treatment?

At least we agree the vaccine mandate is saving lives.

I'm not opposed to mandates that make sense and is constitutional. I'm opposed to arbitrary mandates.

If the purpose of mandates are to get more people vaccinated then they are working beyond anyone's wildest dreams.

I have no idea but if you look at the places that enforce the mandate their figures are way above the national average.
