Nothing here talk about the law.
I was pointing out how the ethics are fiercely debated. Here is an article from when the law changed in 2015. GIYF for more

You lost me. I’m saying that once someone deserves to be treated there should be no priority given to any other unrelated victim or individual.

Okay so you are the one saying to leave them on the street to die. Where do you draw that line? A terrist? Attempted murderer? Drunk driver? Barrel down Niagara?

Is it really that difficult to differentiate between someone who is injured as a result of his deliberate act to kill and injure others, and someone who is injured as a result of a poor Judgment with no intention of harming others?

Of course you can make that line. That is your line. Others can just as easily make a different line that can be argued whether it is better or worse than yours. So where exactly do you draw that line? Is a drunk driver included? He may not have intended to kill and injure others but recklessly put others at risk of life and limb. Is he unworthy of being saved? If both the drunk driver and the victim need to be extricated should the victim be prioritized or should they be considered equal?

Ok that was fun.  :)

How about the recent Biden mandate? Good or bad?
I vote for good.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

A good start but will likely prove inadequate. A significant majority of voters support it so I also think the further polarization will work to his benefit, especially if it ends up working and ending the 4th wave.

All about how it will benefit or hurt him politically?

Anthony Fauci said in a new interview that he would support vaccine requirements for air travel.

"I would support that, if you want to get on a plane and travel with other people that you should be vaccinated," Fauci said during an interview on a podcast.

Fauci's backing of a travel vaccine mandate comes after Rep. Don Beyer (D-Va.) introduced a bill on Thursday that calls for all airline and train passengers in the U.S. to show proof of vaccination or a present negative COVID-19 test in order to travel.

Great. But there is no reason they don't accept positive antibodies.

Prof. Rahav also noted a frightening phenomenon – the treatment of younger unvaccinated patients in place of older vaccinated patients. “Sixty to seventy percent of severely ill patients are unvaccinated, but in intensive care units, they prefer to treat younger patients who are mostly unvaccinated, and in some cases, they take the beds of patients who have been vaccinated who are much older – it’s an outrage.”

What does it mean "taking the beds of"? Are they turning older people away? Discharging them before it's safe to?

The hospitals said they lowered standard of care across the board.

Sounds like they are turning people away, and they prefer to turn away the older patients (mostly vaccinated) in favor of accepting younger patients (mostly unvaccinated). They probably feel the younger patients have better chances of survival.

Are hospitals that overrun? Scary stuff, hopefully the vaccine holds out for these seniors...
