Canadian Aeroplan cardholders can add authorized user that will get Air Canada benefits.
Basic authorized user cards get free luggage for themselves and their family, plus a nexus credit every 4 years. thinking of charging approximately $80 usd
premium card authorized user offers the same, minus the nexus credit, plus Air Canada maple leaf lounge access (plus 1 guest access until November)and 6 priority pass visits. thinking of charging approximately $160 usd per year.

Should be 32kg.  Air Canada grants 3 bags at 32kg for anyone with status, except for 25k status, which provides only 2 bags at 23kg. The status pass gives you 3 bags.

The recipient's trip must start before the end of the benefit year, which is also the calendar year, i.e. the first flight must be taken on or before December 31.  However, if there are additional flights on the PNR in the following year, the status pass will also be valid for those flights.
