Other thoughts on office food.

Toaster- I dislike toasters because food always burns and smells up the place.
Cholent - its nice to have fresh Cholent but the smell got entrenched in the office and doesn’t go away.

Noodle soups are great to stock up on for when you can’t get lunch but a snack won’t do.

Snacks - stock up on small bags so you don’t eat huge bags or leave a mess of open bags. Good snacks include pretzels, granola/kind/chewy bars, rice thins, popcorners. You can also get fruit like apples, clementines, and bananas.

my office is king of snacks but needs improvement on the real food department. I might eat for lunch a cliff bar, kind bar, some gushers, pretzels, chips, all kinds of cookies, chocolate , and some fruit that I take once in a while. The only consistent healthy thing I have is the la croix they stock up on
nothings impossible- the word itself says Im possible

I think the problem is that "real/healthy" food is perishable. So the logistics and cost of having a constant stock is prohibitive.

Have you tried a pizza maker? Excellent replacement.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

yup real issue, healthy food don't always look great and need special care, what a pity, but that's how Hashem designed the world so its for our good that we should eat junk

Salmon, cooked veggies, baked apple (sliced and sprinkled with cinnamon), scrambled eggs, frittata, probably lots more. I've done frozen breaded flounder but you could probably do without the crumbs. Also lots of unhealthy things like pizza bagels, grilled cheese, pancakes (maybe you have a healthy recipe)?

Basically anything you can cook in a frying pan and anything you'd make in a toaster oven should work.

You can do any veggies you want. For low carb skip the potatoes.

Both are good (they taste very different though)

Pretty much, and check on it pretty often (over time you'll get a feel for how long things take but my general rule is that when there's steam coming out the sides, time to check on what's cooking).

I use mine at home but no reason not to bring it to work if you have the space. Just bring a spatula.

Pancakes come out really good and you can prep the batter in advance (or buy frozen).

Some more ideas: https://betweencarpools.com/best-small-appliance-youll-ever/
https://betweencarpools.com/how-to-cook-pasta-in-your-betty-crocker/
(also if you have leftover cooked pasta you can throw it in with some cheese and sauce and it'll melt very nicely too)

You can line it with parchment paper (food won't get as crispy on bottom) or foil (make sure to spray it though) for easier cleanup. Though it's pretty easy to clean as long as you don't let food burn. A sprinkle of water and a paper towel can usually get it clean.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

clementines
should not be allowed in public areas. The smell is soooo strong.

I work hours that are a little non standard and most carbs make me heavy and lethargic so work food is a challenge. I usually do some combination of: hard boiled eggs / shakshuka (it's OK room temp) / jazzed up tuna salad / carrot or pepper sticks/ yellow cheese/ some slices of whole spelt sourdough.

If you have the time to prepare every day, a salad with a protein in it (chicken/steak/feta etc) is really the way to go IMO.

If you dont care about health/carbs, sandwiches have endless amazing combinations.

I think you're confusing this with sardines.
