Then his response to me is meaningless. I wrote these aren’t all the facts, never questioned whether any of the stated facts are true.
And he confirmed, these aren’t all the facts. His insinuation that the additional facts only make it look worse might not be the whole truth either, even if all five passengers he (allegedly) spoke to suggested that was the case.
Your distinction between all facts and all the facts stands true, but I’m not sure how it’s relevant here. Other than the OP (oldguy) staring “100% true” nobody questioned the veracity.
Since you're going into insinuations, when a story paints a certain picture, and you state that you doubt whether those are all the facts, the insinuation is that there might be additional facts that paint a different picture. In your mind you might have not questioned the veracity of the facts stated in the article, but that is how your post came across.
