I can confirm they convert people. I was talked into this guy’s sukkah on chol hamoed ;). He was saying some kind of voodoo stuff & everyone would keep taking drinks. I don’t know what he spiked the drinks with but I haven’t been the same since.
Hold up. What color was his hair?

Hold up. What color was his hair?

Or, what color did it used to be?

Mordechai Lightstone's Twitter bio includes this: шнеерсоновщина
Google Translate says it's Belorussian, "šniejersonovŝina," and if you set it
to translate from Russian, it gives you "shneersonovschina" as the English.
What does it mean?
Do you want to play a board game, digitally or in Lakewood NJ? PM me. (Can be asynchronous, i.e. take turns whenever)

Probably would translate to Schneersohnism (disclaimer: I don't speak Russian, can ask my son who does)
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Where does one buy a bendel?

Monsey, preferably.

They don't sell them in judaica/grocery stores as "shabbos belts"?

If not, or if those are closed, you can get a piece of elastic from the sewing section in target or Walmart, etc. And tie it to clips /key rings /buckles of your choice.

Expert level: cut the elasticated waist band off a brand name pair of underwear.

Never looked for em before ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'll try a couple of places and make my own if I need to, thanks.

And let's leave the gacthes out of this for now ;D.

What's the source of not taking in Shabbos early?
And how do you weigh that against kids being at the Shabbos meal or not?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
