For those who would like to submit a "Duch". Google form has been created by some bochurim who were at the rally. דו"ח - מבצעים למען אה"ק - יום הבהיר ר"ח כסלו, וואשינגאןReport to the Rebbe - Mivtzoim for Eretz Yisroel - Rosh Chodesh Kislev, Washington DChttps://forms.gle/aLverKEgN2KSspzNA
Can someone please explain this to me?
it's good to be a Lubavitcher
Honest question: Why wasn't the Lubavitcher Rebbe asked to join the Moetzes? Or was he asked and he refused?I know Rav Shach was against the Rebbe, but wasn't that much later in life? Why wasn't the Rebbe asked to join in the '60s or '70s?
דו"ח = דין וחשבוןIt is a report sent to the Rebbe after doing a shlichus. Usually one would do it personally, here people decided to do a cumulative report of everyone who did mivtzoim at the march
Interesting. What do they do with it?
Which OOT cities have a functional relationship with the local shluchim and which cities have a dysfunctional relationship with the local shluchim. Are Anash just looked at as a nuisance (or worse) in most places? Are there any lessons to be learned from places where the relationship works?
Lubavitch is a-political.
lol
With one exception. Lubavitch never officially supported any political party, nor did it ever belong to or affiliate with any political party.
Lubavitch was against the Agudah from it's inception, so obviously the Lubavitcher Rebbe could not have joined the Moetzes of Agudah.
I don't think so. I think when it first started as a gathering of Rabbanim to help all yidden, the Rebbe --------But when it became a political body, he stepped away.
Incorrect. The Rayatz was already vehemently against the agudah and wrote scathing letters to the Gerrer Rebbe and others against the Agudah.https://www.kedem-auctions.com/en/content/sharp-letter-rebbe-rayatz-lubavitch-–-scathing-criticism-agudath-yisrael-and-german-jewshttp://www.legacyjudaica.net/product/lot-074-michtav-oz-polemic-against-agudas-yisroel-by-the-rayatz-of-lubavitch-only-edition-poland-1922-extremely-rare-מכתב-עוז-ויכוח/https://tiferet-auctions.co.il/auction/274-a-special-auction-en/lot-37-copies-of/Ironically he criticized the Aguda for establishing a Moetzes because he felt it would further the agenda of the zionists.
